Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these terms and conditions (“Terms”) is to define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between Dental Edutech Co., Ltd. (“Company”) and its members (“Users”) regarding the use of services provided through the Dental Master app (“Mobile App”).
Article 2 (Definitions)
① Definitions of the terms used in these Terms are as follows:
- “Member” refers to a person who has downloaded the Mobile App to their device, agreed to these Terms, and has been granted the qualifications to use the Mobile App services. Unless there is a specific reason, the owner of the smartphone or tablet PC where the app is installed is considered the Member.
- “Service” refers to all learning content, social networking services (SNS), and other services provided by the Company through the Mobile App.
- “Paid Service” refers to services offered by the Company that require payment for use.
- “Device” refers to mobile devices such as smartphones or tablet PCs capable of installing and running the app.
- “Account (ID)” refers to a combination of letters, numbers, or special characters selected by the Member and assigned by the Company for identification and service use. Alternatively, IDs provided by platform operators like Facebook or email addresses may be used as an Account.
- “Account Information” refers to general information provided by the Member, including ID, password, and name, as well as service usage information and payment status. If the Member selects an ID or email address provided by a platform operator, a unique identifier provided by the platform (e.g., TID, UID, App Center ID) is included in the Account Information.
- “Open Market” refers to platforms that mediate transactions between the Company and Members, allowing Members to download apps for free or for a fee (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store).
- “In-App Purchase” refers to payment transactions conducted within the app to purchase learning content (text, images, audio, video, etc.), features, or subscription-based services.
- “In-App Content” refers to learning content (text, images, audio, video, etc.), features, and other purchasable items available through In-App Purchases.
- “Subscription Service” refers to a service provided for a specific period, during which the Member pays a fee to use the service for the designated duration.
- “Recurring Payment Service” refers to a subscription service where fees are charged periodically (monthly or annually) through the Open Market.
